VitalScheduler builds the call schedule for physician, NP, and PA groups automatically. You describe your rotations once: day call, nights, weekend blocks, clinic, 7 on and 7 off patterns, whatever your group actually runs. A constraint solver then fills the whole block in under a minute. Hard rules are never broken, preferences bend only when they must, and anything you lock by hand survives every regeneration. Fairness is provable, not promised. Every schedule comes with a ledger showing what each provider carried, what an FTE-proportional share would have been, the difference, and what they brought in from the previous block. Providers see their own line, so "why am I always on for the holidays" is answered with numbers. Providers sign in to see their shifts, subscribe a personal calendar feed (Apple, Google, Outlook), request time off, and propose swaps; the scheduler approves with one click and every calendar updates. Export to Excel or a printable PDF, or import the spreadsheet you use today. Groups that need work-hour limits, such as residency programs and ICU or hospitalist services, can turn on caps for weekly hours, days off, continuous duty, rest after long shifts, and call frequency.
