ViaSign is the web-based software for the design and manufacturing of vertical traffic signs, developed by Viaxis Tech Hub. Based on road classification, operating speed, and site installation, the system calculates letter height, spacing, sign dimensions, background and legend sheeting, as well as wooden, breakaway (frangible), or steel signposts—in compliance with CONTRAN’s Brazilian Traffic Signing Manual, ABNT NBR 14891, ABNT NBR 14644, and DER/SP standards. From the same automated calculation, it generates PDF reports, layered 1:1 DXF files, EPS files for CorelDRAW, sheet nesting/cutting layouts, bills of materials (BOM), CSV files for cost estimation, and KMZ files for Google Earth. The proof of concept was validated alongside EcoPoste (breakaway posts) and Avery Dennison (reflective sheeting).
