Verified Call checks the person on a video interview, before the call and all the way through it, without a bot joining the call. Before the call, each guest gets an email and a five-minute check on their own computer: camera source, face, a short voice reading, and hidden helper windows. During the call, the host sees a Verified badge for each person in Google Meet. When something changes, such as a different face, a different voice, camera software or a hidden AI tool, the badge turns to Needs a look, and the host can open the proof in one click. What it flags: hidden AI tools like Cluely and Interview Coder that hide from screen sharing, deepfakes and face swaps, AI avatars, camera software that plays a recording or another face into the call, and someone else answering. We publish how we test, false alarms included. In our own testing, hidden AI tools were caught in 30 of 30 tries for each of 4 tools (October 4, 2026), and 99.2% of sessions with the real person were cleared (962 of 970).
