Verificador de Comprobantes (Payment Receipt Checker) is a web tool for stores in Latin America that get paid by bank transfer or mobile wallet: SINPE Móvil in Costa Rica, Yape and Plin in Peru, Nequi, Daviplata and Bancolombia in Colombia, SPEI in Mexico, and bank transfers anywhere.
The store creates a charge with the amount and sends a link to the customer by WhatsApp, Instagram or any chat. The customer uploads a screenshot or PDF of the receipt, with no account and nothing to install. The receipt is read by artificial intelligence and compared with the charge: amount, date, destination account, and whether the same receipt was already used on another charge. The store sees "Matches", "Review" or "Does not match" in one dashboard, instead of searching through chats.
It works with any store platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, Tiendanube) or with no store at all, because it works by link. It supports 10 currencies: CRC, USD, PEN, COP, MXN, CLP, ARS, GTQ, PAB and DOP. A free check of a single receipt, with no sign-up, is also available.
Limits worth knowing: the reading is done by AI and can be wrong, especially with blurry or cropped screenshots. The tool does not move money and does not see the store's bank account, so the store always confirms the payment in its bank or wallet before delivering. Receipt images in store accounts are stored encrypted, visible only to that store, and deleted after 30 days; the free single check does not store the image. The interface is in Spanish.
