Honestly, even if it had stayed exactly as it was back in 2024 it still would’ve been worth it for me. I work in business ops with SMBs in a fractional/ad hoc capacity, so I need something simple but dependable to keep finances organized and CRA/ASPE/IFRS/GAAP-aligned. It’s a light lift for clients on the input side, but the output is organized, readable, and accountant-ready. What I appreciate most is that the updates add real value, they don’t just create noise or extra complexity. It’s stayed practical, which is rare. Overall, it’s a solid tool if you want something that simply works.

I like that SparkReceipt is very simple to use. The screen scraping functionality is really good. It allows me to easily have all of my expenses and income information in one spot, making it simple to see the data. It's easy to export it. They make regular improvements, and they've been pretty good. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and I was able to set it up as I grew my business.
