TwexAPI is a REST API for public X (Twitter) data. Search posts with advanced filters, read profiles, timelines, replies, followers and following lists, and pull trends, lists, communities and X Articles. Responses are JSON, and reads need only an API key, not an X account.
Pricing is credit-based: a typical post or profile read costs about $0.05 per 1,000 reads, compared with $5 per 1,000 post reads on the official X API. Every endpoint draws from one Credit balance, and requests that fail with an error are not billed. New accounts get 20,000 free Credits with no credit card required.
TwexAPI ships SDKs, a CLI and a hosted MCP server, so AI agents in Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients can call it directly. Paid plans run at up to 20+ QPS.
