TurboTexte is an abbreviation (text expansion) app for Windows, made for French speakers. Type a short abbreviation such as "bjr" followed by a space, and TurboTexte writes "bonjour" in its place, in any application: email, browser, word processor, messaging. It ships with ready-made French abbreviations and a word-family system: one abbreviation gives the word, its plural and its adjective (xp = expérience, xp ks = expériences, xp ka = expérimental), so the same rule works across hundreds of words. You can create your own abbreviations in three clicks. Your text stays on your computer: nothing is sent over the internet. Subscription from €3.90 excl. VAT per month, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required. Interface in French.
