Testudos is a modern, developer-first tool for testing applications built with the Qt framework. It lets you automate GUI and integration tests, and extend any of them with your own scripts when a scenario needs more than the built-in steps. You can record test scenarios, read and write Qt object properties directly (bi-directional access), and run everything from the command line. Scripting is done in Python. On top of the usual test tooling, Testudos puts real weight on reporting and documentation - it can generate reports that go straight into regulatory documentation, which matters for industries that require traceability. It is proven to work not only on desktop but also on custom embedded targets. Testudos currently supports Windows and Linux applications as well as embedded Linux applications, and it integrates with Visual Studio Code.
