Templ's WordPress hosting comes with all the bells and whistles you expect from a premium managed WordPress hosting package. Features include unlimited free migrations, a staging site, free SSL certificates, a Content Delivery Network (CDN), daily backups, and the equivalent of cPanel's File Manager. In addition, you get an SMTP server for outgoing emails, which I found simple to configure. Other managed WordPress hosting providers do not always have an SMTP server for outgoing emails; even if they do, it is often not this easy to set up. For outgoing transactional emails, I usually use Sendinblue's official plugin for WordPress. With Templ's SMTP server, I don't have to install the Sendinblue plugin unless the site requires a newsletter subscription form. Templ also offers several value-added plugins, i.e., Templ Automatic Updates Enabler, Templ Cache, Templ Token Login, and Templ Optimizer. Among these plugins, I found the Templ Optimizer plugin the most useful because it helps optimize the WordPress database and improves site performance. When creating a website, you can choose from 29 Google Cloud locations, which is considerably more than what most other managed WordPress hosting providers offer. Templ provides incredible customer support by online chat, email, and phone (from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. UTC+1). Response times are usually within 5 minutes. I wanted to activate the PageSpeed Module – this took about 40 minutes. The customer support also helped me decide to continue using the paid Cloudflare CDN service instead of the Google Cloud CDN, which comes with the hosting plan.
