WorkHoist is construction management software for general contractors and specialty trades running crews of 5 to 50 in the US and UK. It runs the job in one system, from the first lead to the final invoice, so sales, the field and the office work from one set of numbers.
It starts at the lead, not the project. A built-in CRM and sales pipeline track every prospect and bid. Estimates and proposals are built in the same place, and a won deal becomes a live project without re-keying.
Projects carry a Gantt schedule, tasks, daily logs with photos, RFIs, submittals, punch lists and documents. A crew work plan shows who is on which job and where capacity is short. Equipment tracking keeps an asset register with check-outs, parts and photos (Growth plan and up).
Job financials cover budgets and cost codes, change orders with a status trail, purchase orders, expenses, time cards, schedule-of-values billing with AIA G702/G703 forms and retainage held per line, AR aging, budget versus actual, cash flow and a live P&L per job.
Subcontractor compliance tracks each sub's documents and flags anything expired. A project email hub connects Gmail or Outlook and links every email to its job. Clients and subcontractors get portal access to the project records that concern them.
Bob, the in-app AI assistant, answers questions from the company's own data and is read-only. An MCP connector lets Claude and ChatGPT read and update WorkHoist data. Both are included on every plan.
Accounting connections such as QuickBooks or Sage are built as custom integrations during setup, not offered as out-of-the-box connectors.
Plans start at $399 a month for up to 20 users, with a 14-day free trial and no setup fee. A Total Ownership option delivers a one-time build that the customer owns, source code and infrastructure included, deployed to their own cloud or on-premise.
