A payslip, invoice or tax notice can look untouched on screen yet still carry traces of editing inside the file. Veritas-Doc reads the PDF page by page, including its metadata and internal structure, and surfaces technical signs of modification in seconds.
The analysis covers six families of signals: editing software and production chain (around sixty known tools), incremental saves, inconsistent dates, covered areas, text recovered from under masks, and fonts that change mid-line. When the file still holds text hidden under a white box, Veritas-Doc shows it in its exact position.
Each signal is named, ranked by severity and weighted. The confidence score starts at 100 and deducts each signal's weight, so you can recalculate it line by line. The printable report can be attached to the case file to document your check.
Veritas-Doc never labels a document as fraudulent: it provides objective evidence and the decision stays with the person reviewing the file. The content of uploaded PDFs is not stored.
