Power Research Tool for Tax Professionals - With the Proper Know-How

TaxGPT is great for researching. I have found as a solo practitioner this tool allows an additional perspective on solving client's problems as they arise. If the prompt is fed all the facts and circumstances of the issue, it can be incredibly powerful in pulling the resources together to aid in supporting a position. Combined with our CPA education, TaxGPT can save substantial amounts of time so that we can focus on delivering value to our clients. I can prepare client memos regarding positions that would have taken hours to research, confirm understanding, and write - and those memos can serve as a basis for what I need 95% of the time. Generally, I only have to make situational revisions or add clarity depending on the client's tax comprehension skills. Agent Andrew can also be a handy second set of eyes to review new client returns or double-check returns when you want the additional accuracy assurance. For new clients, it can help you develop an understanding the scope of services to be provided so that you can provide a refined offering of services.
