TacticalPay provides payment processing and point-of-sale software for the firearms industry and has been in business since 2015. It offers merchant accounts and FFL software to independent gun stores, shooting ranges, home-based FFLs, GunBroker sellers and other firearms businesses. Its products include TacticalPay POS, the TacticalPay Gateway and TacticalPay Tap. TacticalPay POS is point-of-sale and FFL software with built-in ATF compliance features, including an electronic A&D bound book, electronic Form 4473s and FFL transfers tied to serialized inventory. It tracks firearms, ammunition and accessories by SKU and serial number, and supports trade-ins, consignments, gunsmithing orders, layaways, memberships and range management. The TacticalPay Gateway processes online and phone payments. It integrates with GunBroker, WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce and more than 125 other shopping carts, and includes a virtual terminal, stored payment methods, electronic invoicing, recurring billing, 3-D Secure and fraud screening. TacticalPay Tap is a mobile app that accepts contactless card and digital wallet payments on an iPhone or an NFC-capable Android phone or tablet, and records firearm details such as the 4473 number with each sale. TacticalPay charges flat processing rates, published up front, so merchants can see the full fee schedule before signing up. Setup and support are handled in-house by TacticalPay's team in Kingwood, Texas.
