Metrea is online quantity takeoff and cost estimating software for French construction cost consultants (économistes de la construction) and quantity surveyors. Upload a plan, whether a PDF, a scan or photo, a DWG/DXF drawing or an IFC model, and Metrea reads it: it detects the rooms, picks up the areas written on the drawing and proposes the others from the room outlines, for you to validate. Every quantity states where it comes from: written on the plan, measured on a validated outline, typed in, or estimated and to be checked.
From the takeoff, Metrea builds a cost estimate by trade package, produces the French tender documents (DPGF bill of quantities and CCTP specifications), and compares contractors' bids line by line. An Autodesk® Revit® plug-in sends the model in one click, and IFC files from Revit and ArchiCAD are also supported. When a drawing is revised, Metrea compares both versions and shows the impact on the estimate.
