Meridian LawOS is practice management software that starts from the files your firm already keeps. Every morning it reads each client folder on your office server or cloud drive, scanned PDFs included, and gives each attorney a short list of clients who need a call, with the reason for each. On a sample firm, that list shows a client who died with no estate matter open, and a home listed on a trust schedule that no deed ever moved into the trust. Each item names the file it came from, so the attorney can check it before deciding what to do. By default LawOS reads your files on a computer at your firm, so file contents aren't sent to an AI provider. Your firm can also connect Claude, Anthropic's AI model, through its own Anthropic account. If it does, the files LawOS reads with Claude go to Anthropic under that account, and Anthropic bills your firm directly. Opening a matter or sending a referral needs an attorney's approval, and every action is logged with that attorney's name. LawOS doesn't contact clients. Your firm can keep its data in the practice-management software it uses now, where LawOS reads it, or move the whole practice into LawOS. Setup starts by mapping how your firm organizes its folders; after that, connecting takes about 10 minutes. To see it on a sample firm, ask for a walkthrough at stonemeridianconsulting.com/lawos.
