Still Due is a type of accounts receivable automation software that helps contractors and small shops collect payment on overdue invoices by emailing clients scheduled reminders that include an online Pay button.
It is built for small service businesses such as HVAC companies, roofers and other trades. These owners do the work, send the invoice, and then have to follow up when payment doesn't arrive. Instead of writing and sending each follow-up by hand, the owner adds the unpaid invoice to Still Due. Still Due then emails the client polite reminders on a schedule, sent in the morning, until the invoice is paid.
Each reminder includes a Stripe Pay button. When the client pays online, the payment goes directly to the owner's own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. Still Due doesn't hold the funds. Reminders come from a dedicated Still Due sending address, so the owner doesn't need to set up any email software.
Main features:
- Scheduled, polite reminder emails for each unpaid invoice
- A Stripe Pay button in every reminder
- Payments deposited to the owner's own Stripe account via Stripe Connect
- No email setup: reminders are sent from a dedicated Still Due address
- Free, no-signup tools: a late fee calculator and an overdue invoice email writer
Pricing is $29 per month. Still Due also keeps the greater of 50 cents or 5 percent of each payment collected online through a reminder. That fee applies to payments, not to the monthly plan.
Still Due also publishes two free tools that don't need an account. The late fee calculator shows what a percent-per-month or flat late fee comes to so far. The overdue invoice email writer drafts a friendly first reminder, a firm second ask, or a final notice that the user can copy into their own email.
Still Due is web-based, and support is by email.
