StoreVault is a backup and restore application for Shopify stores. It captures products, collections, pages, blog articles, navigation, URL redirects, inventory levels and themes, and keeps each change as a separate version. Merchants restore a single record to an earlier version, or the store to a chosen moment in time. Each restore is presented as a plan first, listing the records that would change, the records that already match and the records that are missing and would be recreated. The plan is applied only after approval, and a completed restore can be reversed. The application re-reads its own stored copies on a schedule, decrypts them, compares a sample with the live store and reports the outcome by email. Orders and customers are archived, compared and exported, and are not written back into the store.
