When I look for a markdown editor, I usually base my emphasis on simplicity and ease of use. I want something that I can use to quickly write down my docs so I can do a proper formatting when writing. StackEdit ticks all the boxes for me. It's simple to use, I can work on my files offline, and I don't need to download any software because I can work directly from my browser.
Another really cool feature is the ability to save my docs to Google Drive and access them from any of my devices.

When you manually edit a md file you need to remember the syntax to format the text such as making text bold etc. This is easily solved by inline UI controls given.
