Stackbridge is an institutional memory layer for IT, platform and SRE teams. It captures what a team learns while running its systems, from the tickets, chat threads, pages and alerts the team already produces, turns it into structured knowledge that a person has approved, and surfaces it where the next engineer is looking.
The knowledge that costs a team most was never written down. It lives in a Slack thread from eleven months ago, or in the head of the engineer who left in March. Stackbridge captures it from the tools a team already uses, so nobody has to remember to document anything.
Every capture is extracted into structured fields rather than stored as a wall of text: root cause, fix applied, prevention note, error signature, service ownership. Incidents, how-to guides, runbooks, reference facts, architecture decision records and service ownership cards each have their own shape.
Nothing is published by the AI alone. Every capture lands as a draft for a person to approve, and every change is recorded in a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail.
Key capabilities:
- Automatic capture from Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, GitHub, Bitbucket and Prometheus Alertmanager
- Semantic search and a grounded chat assistant over the approved record
- Proactive matching that posts the past fix into a Slack thread when a new incident resembles an old one
- An MCP server, so Claude Code, Cursor and other AI coding tools can query the knowledge base directly
- A knowledge-gaps report showing the questions nobody could answer
- An AI-guided offboarding interview that captures what a departing engineer knows
- Tamper-evident audit trail, read-access logging, GDPR export and configurable log retention
- Single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID, Google and GitHub
Deployment: Stackbridge is sold on-premises, installed with Helm on the customer's own Kubernetes or OpenShift, air-gapped if required, using the customer's own language model. Embeddings run locally by default. Customer data is never used to train models. EU hosting is available on request.
Pricing is quoted per deployment. There are no public tiers and no per-seat pricing. Every engagement starts with a short call on one of the customer's own incidents.
