Spigot is billing and operations software built specifically for mutual water companies - automating meter reading, invoicing, payments, and shareholder management without the spreadsheets. Invoices auto-generate from meter reads, supporting flat, tiered, and volumetric rates, minimum charges, share assessments, purchased-water allocation, and late fees. Shareholders pay online by card or ACH bank transfer, or enroll in autopay, with an optional card-fee pass-through; checks and in-person payments are logged too. Payments run through Stripe, so Spigot never stores card or bank numbers. The Spigot Field iOS app captures reads with camera OCR and GPS, works fully offline, and syncs when back online. Shareholder management tracks connections, owners, and share assignments, while supply-vs-demand tracking catches leaks and loss early. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with admin-only controls and field access scoped to meter reads. Full data migration is included during onboarding.
