Spatula is AI-powered digital menu software that turns a restaurant's menu into a conversational assistant. Diners scan a QR code and the menu opens in their mobile browser, with no app to download and no sign-up. The assistant answers questions about dishes, ingredients and allergens in real time, and recommends options based on dietary needs, allergies or budget. It speaks over 20 languages, detecting each diner's language and keeping the conversation in it, while the restaurant maintains a single menu in its own. Restaurants upload their menu as a PDF and the system extracts dishes, prices and allergens; the owner confirms allergen data dish by dish in line with EU Regulation 1169/2011, and the assistant only reports what has been confirmed. Diners filter dishes by dietary requirements without involving staff. A digital order summary reduces miscommunication with waiters, and the AI suggests drinks, desserts or starters that complement the choice.
