SoundXtract is an extension for Adobe Premiere Pro, built for video editors who cut to music. It analyzes a music track and places markers on beats, downbeats and individual instrument hits such as kick, snare, bass or piano. Editors can then align selected clips to the beat, build a beat montage, cut clips on detected beats, or switch between tracks automatically, so a music-driven sequence assembles in one pass instead of by hand. SoundXtract also separates music into stems (vocals, drums, bass, melody) inside Premiere Pro, and drives audio-reactive video effects from a chosen instrument without manual keyframing. It runs inside the Premiere Pro panel and is available on Windows and macOS.
