Grammage measures the carbon footprint of a website and tells you what to fix first to make it lighter. A real Chromium browser opens each page with a phone profile, the way a visitor would, measures what it downloads, and gives a score out of 100 compared with sites of the same category, along with an estimate in grams of CO2 per visit (Sustainable Web Design model).
A free test, with no account needed, runs the full audit one page at a time, three times a day per domain. Paid plans run Grammage in your CI pipeline (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, any Docker-based CI) so a regression is caught before it ships, and add a public badge backed by a signed attestation: Solyzon measures the pages again, and the badge checks the signature in each visitor's browser. There are plans for developers, agencies and companies.
Grammage also publishes an open barometer of the homepage weight of 125 sites, with its method and data. It is built by Solyzon, a French web studio focused on low-carbon websites.
