RRP Central is recordkeeping software for contractors who work on homes and child-care buildings built before 1978. Under the EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule, a firm must keep lead-safe records for every job for 3 years. Most crews keep these on paper.
RRP Central keeps each job's records together:
- Send the customer the Renovate Right pamphlet by link and keep their signed receipt
- Store firm and renovator certificates, with expiration dates tracked
- Fill in job forms: renovator assignment, testing, containment, cleaning verification
- See which records are still missing before the job ends
- Attach photos of signed paper forms and other evidence
- Download a full job record as a PDF, or a ZIP with the original files
- Look up the state program rules for the job's location
- Keep working when the signal drops; changes sync when you reconnect
It runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Free during the beta. After the beta, it is $49/month for unlimited jobs.
RRP Central helps organize records. The firm is still responsible for doing the work the rule requires.
