Solpile analyses a single pile under lateral load in layered soil. Define the pile section and the soil profile along its depth, apply the loading, and study displacement, bending moment, shear and soil reaction along the pile. It models clay, sand and rock, groundwater, slope and pile batter with static or cyclic loads; concrete, steel and prestressed sections with moment-curvature and axial load-moment interaction; pile-head and distributed loads, soil movement and LRFD combinations; and pushover, buckling, stiffness and pile-length studies. Results (deflection, moment, shear, soil reaction and p-y curves) export to PDF, Word and Excel reports in SI or US units. Windows desktop application with a free 7-day trial.

Sol-load computes the axial capacity and the load-settlement response of a single pile in layered soil. Static capacity methods (API, USACE, FHWA Nordlund and Tomlinson, Revised Lambda) and the CPT-based NGI, ICP, UWA and Fugro methods give nominal, ASD or LRFD capacity in compression or uplift. A nonlinear t-z / Q-w load-transfer analysis, with curves generated from the soil or entered by the user, gives the load-settlement curve and the axial force along the pile for driven piles and drilled shafts. It also covers downdrag and the neutral plane, CPT import and interpretation, and comparison with load-test data, with reports in PDF, Word and Excel in SI or US units.
