Skillent is German B2B software for apprenticeship management. It combines the digital training record book required under the German Vocational Training Act (BBiG) with rotation planning, approvals, assessments, exam scheduling, documents and reporting.
Apprentices write daily or weekly reports on desktop or mobile. Trainers approve them in a one- or two-step workflow with comments and full history, and return incomplete weeks with a reason. Training managers see open approvals, backlogs and deadlines per role, plus
No changes this session assessments, development talks, exam dates and certificates.
Skillent runs self-hosted in your own infrastructure or as managed hosting in Germany with
a data processing agreement, so training data stays under your control. Licences start at
890 EUR net per year for up to 20 apprentices. Larger plans add multiple sites, LDAP and
Active Directory sign-in, a read-only view for examiners and chambers, API tokens,
webhooks and SSO. Companies with up to three apprentices can request a free micro licence.
Skillent is built for companies that train under German IHK and HWK rules, including those looking for an alternative before the IHK digital Berichtsheft service ends on 31 December 2026.
