Incredible software for 3D subsurface modeling

|Petrel E&P Software Platform
Petrel is an excellent tool for geoscientists overall, the fact that you can interpret seismic data while working with well log information provides accurate subsurface models. Plus, the fact that you can use SIS, OBM and MPS modeling makes your geological model derive from the standar layer strata models.

Good program with a little old looking

|Petrel E&P Software Platform
I am fairly new in the business, but I found using Petrel a little bit easier compare to other programs (like Paradigm and DSG). Also, because Petrel is an older program, it looks like they are more experienced, so Petrel is pretty comprehensive. Also, their supports are really good and helpful. I enjoyed their courses too.
