We are transitioning to a new ERP, so we have been testing out many new offerings as we consider out options, but also consider outside sources for our manufacturing and engineering teams to make their lives easier as compared to solely utilizing the ERP's BOM system. So far, we have found that BOM Manager is filling a gap we once had in regards to outlays and roll-ups, and about 60% of the engineering staff is on board; while the manufacturing group is still deep in their test phase, they seem to like the fact that it is an outside program that can handle their thousands of BOMs.

One of the best features of this, I think, is the fact that I can customize alerts when someone adds/changes something to a BOM. There's also a feature where you can run a program and it "scrubs" old/obs parts from a BOM - no search necessary!!
