Shanghai Jungle is a China market entry agency and official Tmall Partner (TP) founded in 2013. Headquartered in Shanghai with locations in Stuttgart and Copenhagen, we help foreign brands build and scale their presence across China's e-commerce, social media, and retail landscape. We run e-commerce stores on Tmall, Tmall Global, and JD.com — handling everything from store setup and product listings to daily operations, customer service, and logistics. On the social side, we manage brand accounts on WeChat, Douyin, and Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu), producing all content in Chinese and tailored to each platform's format and audience. Our influencer marketing team plans and executes KOL and KOC campaigns across platforms, tying influencer activity directly to store traffic and sales. Beyond digital, we support brands with trademark registration, regulatory compliance (including NMPA for cosmetics and supplements), company setup, and distribution through retail partnerships across China. Our team operates the stores and runs the campaigns ourselves — no subcontractors, no white-labeling. The people doing the strategy are the same people on the platforms every day. Clients include BMW, LVMH, Arabian Oud, woom Bikes, and the European Commission.
