Sellem is a shop management progressive web app (PWA) built for small and medium retailers in Ghana and West Africa. It combines point of sale, inventory tracking, and sales analytics in one application that runs in the browser on phones, tablets, and computers, with no dedicated hardware or local server required. The point of sale supports fast product search, category filtering, and checkout, and records how a customer paid - cash, card, or mobile money. Sellem records payment method for reporting purposes only; it does not process payments and is not a payment gateway or merchant account. Inventory management updates stock levels automatically after each sale, helps prevent overselling, and keeps an auditable history of stock adjustments. Analytics show revenue trends, unit sales, best and worst performing products, category performance, and gross margins calculated from transaction data.
