Seaty is an online box office for UK schools, theatres, choirs, churches and community groups. Organisers sell tickets for plays, concerts, proms and fundraisers from their own event page, with reserved seats on a seating plan they draw themselves or general admission with a set number of places. Parents and audiences book online and get QR tickets by email, with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. On the night, staff scan tickets with the free Seaty app, which also works offline, and sell at the door for cash or by card. Organisers can set aside allocations for staff, governors or year groups, ask questions at checkout such as a child's name and class, sell programmes and refreshments with the tickets, run a waiting list, email ticket holders and send surveys. Seaty is free to use: a percentage fee applies only to card payments Seaty processes, and cash, cheques, bank transfers and free tickets carry no fee.
