Scaup is an AI visibility company. We get businesses recommended by AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, and found on Google, by doing the work on your website every day.
Most companies we meet are in the same spot. They rank for some searches, but not the ones that bring buyers, and ChatGPT doesn't recommend them. Nobody in-house owns it. Some pay an agency that sends reports; some do nothing, because there's always something more urgent.
That's the gap Scaup fills. It connects to your website, checks what AI assistants say about your business, and makes the changes that help them understand and cite you: pages that answer the questions your buyers actually ask, structured data AI can read, an llms.txt file, and the Google foundations underneath. It happens every day, on your own site. Every change is visible, and you can switch on review so nothing goes live before you approve it.
You may have heard this called AEO (answer engine optimization) or GEO (generative engine optimization). We think of it as being the answer. SEO still matters, because many AI answers are built from pages that already rank on Google, so we do both, with AI first.
From growing small businesses to established companies of 30 to 150 people, our customers have one thing in common: no one in-house who owns search. At smaller companies the owner works with us directly. At larger ones, it's usually the Head of Marketing or Growth.
We're Joel, Slava and Tal: an entrepreneur from sales and marketing, a senior engineer, and an entrepreneur from product and user experience, with more than 20 years in tech between us. Scaup is a US company, based in New York.
