SafeRedact is a browser-based document redaction tool that uses AI to automatically detect and permanently remove sensitive information from PDFs and images. Unlike basic PDF editors that overlay black boxes (which can be removed), SafeRedact converts documents to images and burns redactions directly into pixels. The underlying text is destroyed and cannot be recovered.
