SafeBankStatementConverter
- Converts bank statement PDFs to Excel (.xlsx) and CSV, as one table: date, description, debit, credit, running balance.
- Runs in the visitor's browser. The PDF is read on their own device and is never sent to a server. This holds for scanned statements too: text recognition (OCR) runs in the browser (scanned PDFs are on the paid plans).
- Checks every file against the statement's own balances: opening balance plus credits minus debits must equal the closing balance. If it does not, the row to look at is pointed out.
- Files for accounting software, in the free use too: QuickBooks (.qbo), QuickBooks Desktop (.iif), Quicken (.qfx and .qif), OFX (Xero, Sage, MYOB and others), Xero CSV and Tally (XML).
- File converters: bank and accounting files such as QBO, QFX, OFX, QIF, IIF, Tally XML, CSV and Excel converted to one another, or to a printable PDF transaction report (labelled on every page as not a bank statement). Also in the browser, never uploaded.
- Paid plans: scanned PDFs, and up to 24 statements at once, merged into one spreadsheet per account with a PDF reconciliation report.
- Starting with major banks in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
- Free to try, the same on every converter: 2 a day with no account (statements up to 20 pages), 4 a day with a free account (up to 50 pages). Paid plans for more; file converters have no limit on a paid plan.
