There are many reasons to choose Rudder for implementing an excellent quality of services. First of all, for creating and dynamically updating groups of machines based on their inventory. Thus, we can create a node group of a certain distribution, containing some packages in a certain ip range for example. On these dynamic groups, it is possible to create a directive composed of a series of generic methods (creation of a directory, modification of a line, rebooting of a service etc.). For example, about thirty of these small bricks (generic methods) have allowed us to transform our installation and maintenance procedures of our internal wiki into rules in Rudder.
