Risk-Runway is workflow automation software for surplus lines insurance, streamlining the submission-to-bind process for commercial and excess insurance. It automates tasks like submitting risks to market, comparing quotes, gathering documents, and transferring data to agency management systems without modifying AMS licenses. A Kanban-style workflow tracks submissions and renewals visually. Inbox monitoring matches emails to brokers and insureds, parses attachments, and downloads them securely. SMS alerts notify users of quotes or required actions. Multi-pass PDF extraction processes digital and scanned quotes for side-by-side comparisons with key differences highlighted. Cloud storage encrypts documents, and OAuth authentication connects to Outlook without exposing passwords. The mobile-responsive interface enables management from any device, with automatic AMS data transfers. Implementation requires no IT approval or AMS changes, and agencies can stop use anytime.
