RentalBeam is vacation rental software for owners and small property managers who already list on Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com and want their own website to sell too. It gives them three widgets to embed: a live availability calendar, a direct booking form, and a location map. Installation is a script snippet or an iframe, with guided steps for WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and Weebly.
Availability is driven by iCal. RentalBeam imports feeds from any calendar that publishes an ICS URL and refreshes them as often as every 15 minutes. Plus and Pro support up to 10 sources per rental and export one combined feed, so a direct booking taken on the host's own site blocks those dates back on every channel. A sync panel reports Healthy, Stale, or Error per source with the last sync time, and export access tracking shows when Airbnb, Google Calendar, or Vrbo last fetched the outgoing feed. Imported feeds carry blocked dates only, never guest details.
The booking form widget takes direct requests with no OTA commission and no RentalBeam booking fee. Hosts choose inquiry only, request now and bill later, or card payment inside the widget through Stripe Connect, in 134 currencies. Pricing covers seasonal rate overrides, weekly and monthly discounts, early-bird and last-minute rules with stacking controls, coupon codes with usage limits and expiry, five fee types including a percentage tax added on top or included in the price, security deposits, and cancellation policies from four presets or a custom refund schedule. Booking rules cover minimum and maximum stay, advance notice, prep time, booking windows, allowed check-in and check-out days, and a same-day cutoff. Up to 20 custom fields collect guest details, including file and document uploads.
Beyond the widget, hosts send a secure hosted payment page after approving a request, split a stay into a deposit now and a balance later, issue branded invoice PDFs, record bank transfer or cash payments with receipts, and add phone or email bookings by hand. Requested dates can hold until the host answers, and scheduled emails send guests their check-in instructions. Booking notification emails work both ways: replying from the host's own inbox reaches the guest, and the thread is saved in the dashboard.
Collections group several rentals into one widget as a combined calendar, a timeline, or per-rental tabs. On Pro, a collection booking form lets a guest pick dates and then choose from the rentals free for those dates. The map widget offers five curated themes, a choice of pin style, an approximate-area mode that keeps exact coordinates off the page, host-curated nearby highlights, and Street View.
Widgets render in 24 languages and follow the host's colors, fonts, corner rounding, and light or dark theme.
RentalBeam is not a property management system and not a channel manager. It complements the channels a host already uses.
