My department was exactly where many are stuck: paper, phone calls, shouting across the shop floor, to-do lists — in one word, pure firefighting and reactive work. Most colleagues thought that's simply how it is in steel production. After starting with remberg came the big 'but': we had wins from day one, and the project built real momentum in the team. The focus was on bringing our maintenance process and the software into line with each other. So far we have fully succeeded.
