RefAssure collects the candidate's consent online, then sends each referee a secure link by email, and by text when a mobile number is given. If they do not reply, it reminds them automatically: 5 emails and up to 2 texts over 12 days, stopping the moment they submit. Bounced emails are flagged within minutes so you can add a new referee before a start date slips, and referees who reply by email instead of using the form have their reply captured against the candidate. Every completed reference is a signed, timestamped PDF with a full audit trail of consent, requests, reminders and completion, ready for a client audit or an inspection.
