I admire people who act on an idea. It takes courage to put your ideas out there for the world to see. My name is Ricardo De La Cruz, and I have over 10 years of professional marketing and communications experience, having worked in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. I have a varied career path but a focus on sports and business with expertise in sports marketing and communications. I worked in protocol compliance and internal communications for the United Soccer League (USL) in the USA. I co-founded a national football/soccer charity for which I led strategic marketing initiatives. Concurrently, I operate a contract marketing firm, RDLCMarketing.com, providing clients with digital marketing and business development solutions. Since 2013 I have spent my time between the US and the UK, the latter being where I completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. This international experience and viewpoint, in addition to the fact that I grew up on both sides of the U.S. - Mexico border, makes me uniquely able to contribute to cross-cultural, international projects as necessary. In 2023, I am working for Manchester City Football Club in the UK, as a Senior International Content Manager for the LATAM region, I produce content for Man City in Portuguese and Spanish for an audience of more than 10 million people worldwide.  RDLC Marketing is an extension of myself, I run this company as a highly targeted marketing agency where at any point in time, I only work with one or two clients, but I give them my all.
