Quilva is an offline-first writing and creative workspace that brings the entire writing process into one application, from the first idea through planning, outlining, research, mindmapping, notes, drafting, editing, design and publishing. Designed for novels, screenplays, essays, books, research projects and other substantial written work, Quilva lets users organise their ideas, structure their work and develop their writing without relying on multiple applications. It also provides a different approach to authorship: rather than analysing finished text and guessing whether it was produced by AI, Quilva records evidence of how work was created, including typing, edits, deletions, pauses, writing time and typed versus pasted content. This can be used to generate a Human Authorship Certificate with a QR code for verification. Quilva works locally on the user's computer, keeping their writing and creation data under their control.
