QuietAD is built for IT administrators, helpdesk technicians, and managed service providers who manage one or more on-premises Active Directory environments and want the routine parts of that work handled faster, without adopting a full enterprise identity governance platform they don't otherwise need. It performs directive changes to Active Directory, so it's intended for use by staff who already have appropriate, delegated AD permissions for the objects they're managing — the OU-restriction settings exist specifically to make it easier to extend safe, limited use to more junior helpdesk staff without over-granting native AD permissions to do so.
