It's a simple and a fast DB with a phenomenal team behind it.

It's super fast yet super simple. This combination is a rare find and hard to pull off so elegantly. They seem to have done the base product well; building on this should be exciting! Also, their free online support makes a big difference to any open-source user.

The best database solution to store time series data in IIOT

QuestDB is mind-boggling fast both on ingress and egress, enabling new high-frequency use cases in IIOT. Today industrial time series data are highly compressed to achieve fast access for reporting, dashboarding and analytics. It leaves out a lot of use cases that operate on shorter time scales. We tested several databases, and QuestDB ranked at the top. I also like the active user community and discussing topics with peers on the slack channel!

I'm amazed how fast it runs

I used various time-series databases for an IoT sensor project, but I always ran into performance issues, and they were cumbersome to use. That's until I tried QuestDB; I actually couldn't believe it ran so fast that I thought I made a mistake in my SQL code. The team is super responsive and friendly as well.
