They have access to markets in China and elsewhere that you cannot get deals with as a small independent publisher. I like how when you need to update your ebook you don't have to update it on every store, you just update it once and the file will be updated on every market. The UI is straightforward and easy to understand. I received a lifetime deal through AppSumo when they were just starting, so I scored a good deal that is paying for itself.
