Cadet ERP is a specialized ERP system for cable and wire manufacturers. It covers the entire process in a single system - from cable design and product data management, through quotation, sales and purchasing, production planning and shop-floor execution, warehouse management, quality management and maintenance, all the way to dispatch.
Generic ERP systems cannot cover the specifics of cable manufacturing. Cadet can: cable design and construction, production routings, precise cost calculation including metal content, production planning that accounts for cable lengths, drums and workstation capabilities, and full traceability from goods receipt through production to dispatch. Warehouse handling covers cut-to-length and drum-to-drum rewinding, so the system also fits cable traders and distributors, not only manufacturers.
Modules can be deployed individually and rolled out in stages. Cadet provides integration middleware for connecting other systems, Outlook integration, data exchange via EDI and files, web services and APIs, plus automatic price feeds (metal exchange and currency rates). Optional AI features, such as generating quotations from e-mail inquiries, can run on models hosted locally inside your network, so data never leaves the company.
Cadet has been developed by ProXIV since 2003 and is used by cable manufacturers across Europe.
