Proofbox is a fully automated SaaS platform for defensive publications (not a law firm, and not a legal advisory service). Companies and inventors upload a PDF; the platform processes it automatically, applies a qualified electronic seal and a qualified timestamp under eIDAS (EU) 910/2014 with long-term validation, embeds a SHA-256 hash in the seal, registers a persistent DOI via Crossref, and publishes the document in the Proofbox archive under a permanent URL. Title, author, and abstract are publicly indexable, so the publication is findable through search engines; the full text remains access-controlled. Availability is monitored and logged, and each publication is archived for seven years, with notice before expiry and an option to extend. Proofbox is listed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE) as a defensive publication platform. A defensive publication creates no industrial property right; whether it is taken into account as prior art in a given case is decided by the competent authority or court. Proofbox provides the technical and organisational preparation, not the legal assessment.
