Proceptual provides audits of automated hiring systems for compliance with NYC Local Law 144 (Automated Employment Decision-Making Tool Law). Our audit follows a 5-step process: 1. Scope: Consult closely with HR leadership to understand what (if any) automated systems are in place, and providing an opinion on which systems require an audit under the law 2. Collect Data: We provide clients a list of data requests needed to complete our auditing work; we clean the data provided to enter into our audit software. 3. Conduct Audit and Report Internal Results: Our software efficiently conducts the data audit, outputting the necessary chart for NYC compliance, as well as indicating statistical significance of results. 4. Post Compliant Results: We host audit results on a custom microsite and give clients specific direction on how they must link back for compliance. 5. Post Notification Requirements: The law requires companies to place certain notification that an automated tool will be used. We provide exact language to quickly become compliant.
