Close to no free tag manager products currently exist, but this product suite has it own tag manager includes, and quite a nice one at that. The analytics product serves as a nice all-round web analytics foundation, which would probably fit nicely with most companies needs. The entire suite of products are getting regular updates, and is therefore growing into a more and more feature rich and stable selection of products in its own right. I would recommend any small and medium size European company to have a look at Piwik PRO, if they are looking for an alternative to Google Analytics, which originates from Europe, but also adheres to European privacy and compliance laws like GDPR.
