Piction allows all members of my institution's staff to find, download, and use digital assets (in a variety of derivatives) and their related metadata of the museum's collections in one central, controlled location. The DAM is used quite successfully by staff members on a weekly, if not day basis, as it has made their day-to-day activities easier and more efficient.
