Pic2CAD converts images/pictures into CAD-compatible line drawings.
Images, uploaded as JPG, PNG or WebP formats, can be converted into DXF, SVG, and PNG files, making it suitable for AutoCAD, vector software, and laser cutting applications.
The tool provides three conversion methods: converting the whole image, focusing on the subject, and orthographic view. While its application is wide-ranging, its particularly targeted for architecture and engineering students, CAD users, and laser cutter users.
Pi2CAD also allows users to build and share 'CAD blocks' (predefined AutoCAD entities for reuse), supporting a wide range of categories from people and plants, to furniture and everyday objects which helps to facilitate a more efficient and collaborative design process. The platform provides a freemium model offering limited usage with options to upgrade to a subscription model for a higher usage limit and additional features.
